Tin art can be found all over Mexico, but the place best known for its production is the city of Oaxaca. Tin is cut into fabulous shapes, hammered, incised, engraved, and soldered to create ornaments, frames, mirrors, boxes and toys. Throughout the city tin is used to decorate homes, shops, and restaurants, adding touches of color and shine. All of the tin items we sell are hand made and hand painted. Each design is carefully selected for quality and originality.
